ABOUT

I’m a freelance photo editor based in West Yorkshire with 5 years’ experience as a product photographer. My professional journey within the photography industry began with an apprenticeship at a homeware company, studying level 4 digital marketing qualification alongside my photography role. I was responsible for all aspects of product photography including product preparation, photography, photo editing, image resizing for print and online use. I worked in the onsite studio and on location. I am always striving to improve and learn new skills with my camera and in post-production (Photoshop and Lightroom). I have achieved a postgraduate diploma in photography in my spare time. 

For my personal photography projects, I adore taking photos of animals and capturing their personalities. My favourite models are my stunning and very mischievous British shorthair cats Rosa and Midna. Furthermore, I enjoy taking photos of wildlife; it’s an exciting challenge photographing an animal in their natural environment. 

I am currently exploring the world of fine art photography. I use a blend of technical skills and my artistic eye to create beautiful imagery. I refuse to let go of my vivid imagination that I’ve had since childhood. I am always creating stories which inspire my personal photography projects. Outside of my photography and editing world, I enjoy getting lost in stories by reading fantasy books. I love spending time with my fiancé and our two cats.
